A Group of Three Federal Silver Creamers

Daniel Dupuy (1719-1807), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, And Others, Circa 1790-1805


comprising one creamer by Daniel Dupuy, circa 1790, engraved with oval cartouche bearing monogram, "RLS," flanked by swagged floral garland, marked twice to underside; a creamer, circa 1790, engraved with be-ribboned shield-form cartouche bearing monogram, "SCL," surmounted by swagged floral garland, apparently unmarked; and a creamer, circa 1805, engraved with register of foliate motifs and gadrooned edges, apparently unmarked.

Height 7 1/2 inches (tallest), Total weight: 13.965 oz. t. (weighable silver).

Condition
creamer by Daniel Dupuy: the underside / base is presently weighted- metal was added to underside, slight bending, some scratches, and a small area of denting to corner of base edge; other creamer: some discoloration and/or persistent tarnish to surface, slight bending to interior of handle terminal where it meets body, some shallow dings or dents to lower body; late Federal creamer: with some mild rubbing to surface, upper edge of waist molding and lower terminal of handle where it meets body with a few noted solder repairs
